Firstly - Choose a vehicle that you are licensed to drive or willing to take the test for.
Secondly - Don’t rush to buy the first one you see, compare vehicles and if in doubt take a mechanic to look at the vehicle with you.
Thirdly - I always say throw a mattress in the back and take it for a spin, sleep in it, cook while you are away, see what’s important for you to have and what you can sacrifice (remember space is precious and can be limited).,
Fourthly - Plan your build and ensure it suits what you need it to do while you are away. Do you need s shower or could you incorporate an outside shower to save space inside. Consider all the options and once you have a plan… sleep on it and go back to it. Use all the resources out there when planning, social media, online resources and self builders like myself are happy to throw you some free advice.
Lastly - If its all too much for you come to us and we will do the build for you, alternatively if you want to part build your vehicle and have us do some of it for you. this is also an option we offer. Remember that not everyone knows everything and we are here to help with the stuff you find complex or too complicated to deal with.
